About the founder

Born in a small village near Lake Como, Nicole Quadrio is an Italian Fashion Designer and Stylist based in London. Coming from a family of tailors, her
fascination with fashion began early. After moving to London, she pursued a career in fashion, earning a first-class honours degree in Fashion Design from the London College of Fashion. She has since collaborated with various artists, gaining recognition in publications like Vogue Italia and Rollacoaster Magazine.
Inspired by art, people, and music, Nicole translates these influences into refined concepts that tell a story. Her designs feature unexpected tailoring and unusual fabrics. All garments are made in London using locally sourced materials, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship.
Purpose (What and Why?)
Nicole Quadrio is not only a fashion brand, we want to be a movement that fuses art, culture, and innovation to create timeless, wearable statement pieces. Rooted in retro-futurism and surrealism, our designs challenge conventions while embracing craftsmanship, sustainability, and inclusivity. Mixing Italian heritage with the rebelliousness of British fashion, we empower women through bold, intelligent fashion that transcends time and celebrates strength and individuality.
Mission (How We Achieve It)
Nicole Quadrio creates thoughtfully designed, avant-garde womenswear that blends futurism and tradition. Using innovative pattern-cutting techniques and high-quality materials, we craft versatile yet striking garments. Our collections highlight the stories of overlooked female artists and visionaries, fostering a community where art, fashion, and social progress intersect.
Fashion is used as a medium of expression, identity, and change. Through our work, we redefine femininity, challenge industry norms, and contribute to a future where women’s voices, talent, and creativity are celebrated without limits.
Sustainability
Sustainability is at the core of Nicole Quadrio. Each garment is made to order, ensuring that production aligns with demand and excess waste is minimized. Our collections are small, thoughtful, and released in limited drops, allowing for a more intentional approach to fashion. By sourcing high-quality, natural, and deadstock fabrics from London and the UK, we uphold ethical production standards while creating garments designed to last. Through this model, we embrace slow fashion, prioritizing quality over quantity and fostering a more responsible future for the industry.
